How we work
No mystery. No surprises. Just a clear plan.
IT goes wrong when nobody knows who owns what. Every EasyOnIT engagement follows the same simple path, so you always know what’s happening, what it costs and what comes next.
The five stages
- 1
A first conversation
Tell us what’s getting in the way. We ask about your people, systems and priorities — not for a technical specification.
A shared understanding of the problem
- 2
Understand the environment
With authorised access, we review the users, devices, applications, suppliers and dependencies that matter to the outcome.
A clear picture of what you have today
- 3
A written proposal
Options, costs, assumptions and responsibilities, written so the people approving it can actually understand it.
A scope you can say yes or no to
- 4
Deliver in agreed steps
Changes are tested, communicated to staff and made with a fallback plan. Nothing important happens by surprise.
Working changes and documentation
- 5
Review and improve
We check what’s still causing friction, update the plan and agree what needs attention next — and what can wait.
A prioritised improvement list
Clarity before commitment
What your proposal spells out.
Websites can’t tell you what’s included in your service — your proposal can. We write it so it answers the questions that usually get discovered too late.
- What’s included — and what isn’t
- Coverage hours, escalation and response targets
- Costs, including purchases and subscriptions shown separately
- Assumptions and dependencies
- Who owns each responsibility: you, us or another supplier
- Testing, communication and fallback steps for changes
Our principles
Technical depth, without the distance.
Your business comes first
We listen to the constraints, dependencies and priorities before proposing the next change.
The trade-offs are visible
Options, costs, assumptions and responsibilities should be understandable — not buried in jargon.
The handover matters
Testing, documentation and ownership are part of the solution, not an afterthought.
Straight answers
Common questions.
Is there a fixed onboarding fee or contract term?
Fees, terms, coverage and any transition work are agreed in your proposal. This website doesn’t promise a standard price, free onboarding or a fixed commitment period.
Do we have to change the products we already use?
No. We start by understanding what already works. Replacing a product should have a clear purpose and an agreed scope.
Can you work alongside our internal IT person or other suppliers?
Yes. Shared arrangements work well when responsibilities are written down, so nothing is duplicated or missed.
What should we avoid sending in an enquiry?
Passwords, personal records, confidential business information and incident evidence. We’ll agree an appropriate channel once an engagement is scoped.
Tell us what’s slowing you down.
We’ll listen, explain the options in plain English and help you work out the next sensible move. No obligation.
